Job Overview

Taylor Rental Party Plus is looking for a skilled, hard-working professional with furniture moving experience to join our delivery and installation crew. In this role, you will lead the heavy lifting, loading, and setup of premium event furniture, stages, and rental equipment. We need someone who understands the mechanics of safely moving bulky items without damaging the inventory, the venues, or themselves.

Key Responsibilities

Furniture Loading & Handling

• Safe Techniques: Utilize professional moving techniques, pads, straps, and dollies to wrap and protect high-end event furniture (lounge sets, bars, farm tables).
• Truck Stacking: Strategically load and secure box trucks to maximize space and prevent shifting or damage during transit across the Central Coast.
• Order Accuracy: Pull, count, and double-check orders against invoices to ensure 100% accuracy before leaving the warehouse.

On-Site Setup & Installation

• Placement: Maneuver heavy furniture through tight spaces, doorways, and outdoor venues safely, placing items exactly where the event layout requires.
• Assembly: Build and tear down complex structures like dance floors, staging, multi-tier bars, and event tents.
• Property Care: Protect venue flooring, walls, and landscape while carrying and setting up heavy rental equipment.

Breakdown & Recovery

• Striking the Event: Return to venues post-event to carefully break down, count, stack, and reload all furniture and gear.
• Warehouse Organization: Return items to the Paso Robles warehouse, logging any damaged inventory and placing clean items back into stock.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience Required: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in professional furniture moving, residential/commercial moving, or heavy event logistics.
• Physical Strength: Extreme physical stamina; ability to lift, push, pull, and carry 75+ lbs repeatedly throughout an 8 to 10-hour shift.
• Driving Profile: Valid Class C driver’s license with a clean record; experience driving 16ft–26ft box trucks is highly preferred.
• Season Availability: Open flexibility to work early mornings, late nights, and weekends, especially during peak Central Coast wedding and festival seasons.
• Professionalism: Strong communication skills and a courteous attitude when interacting with high-end clients, brides, and venue coordinators.
