Forklift Mechanic

Join a stable, long-standing company in the material handling industry as a Forklift Service Technician. We are seeking motivated Field and Shop Technicians with experience in automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment industries to keep our customers’ equipment running safely and efficiently.

Location: Rochester, NY | Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Pay: $25–$35/hr

What You’ll Do:

• Service & Repair: Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair LP, electric, and diesel forklifts.
• Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
• Customer Communication: Explain repairs and recommendations clearly to customers, ensuring satisfaction.
• Safety First: Inspect equipment for compliance and ensure all safety devices are functional.
• Paperwork & Reporting: Complete service orders and reports accurately and on time.
• Vehicle & Tool Care: Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and ensure all tools are in working order (for field techs).
• Independent Work: Manage your schedule and work autonomously while having access to team support when needed.

Qualifications:

• Qualified forklift technician with proven experience in troubleshooting and repairs
