Production Assembler / Layout Technician

We are seeking a dependable Layout Technician to join our team in Webster, TX. This position is ideal for someone with experience using power tools, reading basic blueprints or schematics, and assembling mechanical components.

(This position is expected to last at least 3 months, with the possibility of extension for candidates who perform well and meet project needs.)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and schematics
• Use power tools to drill and install components
• Assemble and mount hardware onto panels and enclosures
• Cut, drill or punch holes in enclosures according to specifications
• Organize materials and hardware for each project
• Complete required documentation and checklists
• Return unused materials and maintain a clean work area

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous assembly, layout, or mechanical installation experience required
• Experience using power tools such as drills and hand tools
• Ability to read basic blueprints, drawings, or schematics
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Valid Driver’s License
