Hire Priority Staffing is hiring Make Ready Technicians for multifamily apartment communities in Round Rock, Del Valle, and Central Austin, TX.

This position is ideal for a dependable, hard-working individual with make ready, maintenance, handyman, remodeling, or general labor experience who takes pride in preparing apartment homes for new resident move-in. You will play a key role in unit turns, basic repairs, and helping keep apartment homes clean, functional, and move-in ready.

Job Overview

Location: Round Rock, Del Valle, and Central Austin, TX
Position Type: Full-Time / Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $19 - $20 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all vacant apartments are fully restored to make ready status for new resident move-in
• Perform basic maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting
• Troubleshoot and repair items such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors, cabinets, walls, and building exteriors
• Complete punch work and help prepare units for final inspection
• Prioritize daily workload and coordinate with the property manager and maintenance team as needed
• Help maintain the overall quality, cleanliness, and readiness of vacant units
• Support the maintenance team with additional make ready and general property duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous make ready, maintenance, handyman, remodeling, construction, or general labor experience preferred
• Must have your own basic tools
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
• Professional or commercial painting experience is a plus
• Groundskeeper experience is helpful
• CPO experience is a plus
• Must be dependable, organized, and able to prioritize work effectively
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
