People Ready Skilled Trades is hiring Marine Joiners for a short-term project in Seattle. Candidates must have at least 3 years' experience including berthing's, heads, galley, furniture, lagging & minor electrical fixture installations. Candidates must also be US Citizen and be able to pass background check for access to Vigor shipyard. Project is expected to wrap up on 5/11. Pay is $30-35 for locals and $30 + $250 per diem for qualified travelers- DOE.

Requirements

• Reading blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand requirements
• Measuring, cutting and shaping wood, plywood and other materials according to measurements
• Constructing wooden structures such as frames, floors, and walls
• Building staircases, doors, windows, and furniture from wood and other materials
• Installing completed products, such as doors, window frames, and staircases
• Repairing and restoring damaged furniture and structures
• Inspecting structures and fixtures for any necessary repairs or replacements

Candidates will be working 12 hours/day 7 days a week.

The hourly rate for this position is $30.00-35.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
