We are seeking a reliable and organized Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our growing home care agency in Raleigh.
Job Responsibilities
The Administrative Assistant will support the agency’s leadership team with daily office operations and caregiver coordination.
Responsibilities include:
• Assisting with caregiver scheduling and shift coordination
• Communicating with caregivers regarding assignments and schedule changes
• Maintaining organized employee and client records
• Assisting with onboarding paperwork for new hires
• Answering phone calls and responding to inquiries from clients and families
• Supporting documentation and compliance tracking
• Maintaining office organization and filing systems
• Assisting the Agency Director with administrative tasks as needed
• Coordinating communication between staff, clients, and supervisors
Minimum Requirements
• High school diploma or minimum • TB test or screening required
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer proficiency (email, documents, scheduling systems)
• Professional phone etiquette
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of client and employee information
• Ability to pass a background screening
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous administrative or office experience
• Experience in healthcare, home care, or scheduling environments
• Familiarity with electronic documentation systems or scheduling software
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
