Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality care and support to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. This position requires a strong commitment to resident rights and the ability to work effectively with individuals with various disabilities, including developmental disabilities and dementia.

Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Help with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties.
- Assist clients with mobility, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting independence and skill development.
- Respect and uphold resident rights at all times while providing care.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of first aid practices is highly desirable.
- Experience in dementia care is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility needs.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean environment for client safety and comfort.
- Understanding of the unique needs of individuals with disabilities is beneficial.
