Part Time Groundskeeper for Apartment Community - Brownsburg

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented team member to help maintain the appearance, safety, and cleanliness of a residential apartment community. This part-time role is ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping outdoor and common areas welcoming for residents, visitors, and staff.  Hours/Days per week are flexible 15-20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Maintain landscaping and outdoor common areas, including walkways, entryways, parking areas, courtyards, and recreational spaces.
• Perform routine litter pickup and keep grounds free of debris.
• Assist with basic lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, watering, and seasonal cleanup as needed.
• Monitor exterior areas for maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and needed repairs, and report issues promptly.
• Help keep outdoor fixtures, furniture, and amenities clean and presentable.
• Support light maintenance tasks when needed, such as replacing bulbs, clearing drains, or moving equipment and supplies.
• Use tools and equipment safely and follow community procedures and safety guidelines.
• Provide friendly, professional support to residents and guests when questions or concerns arise.

Qualifications

• Prior groundskeeping, landscaping, or general maintenance experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and complete tasks with attention to detail.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, carry, bend, stoop, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and outdoor maintenance equipment is helpful.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with residential property grounds maintenance.
• Knowledge of seasonal landscaping tasks and irrigation basics.
• Ability to identify common exterior maintenance issues.
