Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a night shift, rotating 36/48-hour schedule travel assignment in Paintsville, KY.
Details
- Hospital-based CT Scan unit
- Night shift, rotating schedule: 3x12-hour shifts one week (Tue, Wed, Sat, Sun) and 4x12-hour shifts the next (Mon, Thu, Fri), from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 36/48-hour rotating schedule across a two-week pay period (84 hours total); candidates must be willing to accept this schedule
- No on-call required
- Every other weekend is required
- Floating required within scope of practice
- Meditech EMR
- Experience with GE equipment and PACS required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an X-Ray Tech or CT Tech
- ARRT certification — R.T.(R)(CT) required
- KY KBMIRT Radiation Operator's License required
- AHA BLS required
- Active Compact or State License in hand required (license required if applicable)
- Experience with GE imaging equipment and PACS systems
- Driver's License with permanent address matching is required for consideration
- 2 professional references required for consideration: at least 1 Charge Nurse or higher and 1 supervisor reference, both completed within the last year
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
Additional Information
- Orientation is scheduled bi-weekly
- Up to 7 days of RTO may be considered; RTO must be submitted upfront and no changes will be accepted after submission
- Must be willing to work either a major or minor holiday during the assignment
- Travelers who have worked in this system for one year must take a minimum 6-month break before being eligible to return
- Travel pairs are accepted on a limited basis; pairs will not be placed on the same shift or unit
- Any license hits or background check issues must be disclosed upfront
- Candidate's middle name is required; confirmation is needed if the candidate does not have one
