Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department Charge Nurse position in Washington State, requiring a minimum of 3 years of ED experience and active Charge Nurse experience.
Details
- Emergency Department setting at a community hospital
- Night shift schedule: 1830–0700 (12-hour shifts)
- 36 hours per week with the ability to pick up extra shifts
- 13-week contract
- Charge Nurse responsibilities required
- Meditech EMR knowledge is helpful but not required
Requirements
- Active WA state RN license or a Compact (multi-state) RN license currently in hand
- Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- Charge Nurse experience required
- Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
- Completed and verifiable 6-hour suicide prevention training
- Verification of demographics via Nursys required
- DOB and SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Serves as Charge Nurse in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment
- Must be a team player with strong ED clinical knowledge
- RTO must be pre-approved and scheduled at the end of the contract; full availability is expected during the contract period
- Located near the Pacific Northwest beaches and Olympic National Forest
