Local Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) – Night Shift

Assignment Details

• Night Shift: 11:15 PM – 7:15 AM
• 5x8 Schedule
• 40 Hours Guaranteed Weekly
• 13-Week Contract
• Weekend, Holiday, and On-Call Requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related field
• MT or MLS Certification (ASCP preferred)
• Equivalent certifications accepted (NCA, AMT, or HEW)
• Minimum 3+ years of recent Medical Technologist experience
• Current AHA BLS Certification
• Experience with EPIC preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform and evaluate quality control procedures
• Conduct Chemistry and Diagnostic Immunology testing
• Process and analyze laboratory specimens
• Perform STAT and routine testing accurately and efficiently
• Troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment
• Participate in proficiency testing and quality improvement initiatives
• Assist with training and departmental workflow optimization
• Provide on-call coverage as needed
