Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Russellville, AR, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience and active AR or compact RN licensure.
Details
- Day shift position, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 13-week contract
- Cardiac Cath Lab unit in a 170-bed, Joint Commission Accredited facility with an Accredited Chest Pain Center and AHA Stroke Program
- Trauma Level 3 facility
- 5–6 bed unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
- Patient population includes all ages
- EMR: Meditech experience applicable
- Equipment includes vital signs monitors, airway management devices, and IV pumps
- Travelers assist in the holding room (pre-op) area as needed
- Every other weekend required
- On-call required: minimum of 12 days per month (details to be discussed with the director)
Requirements
- Active AR RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA certifications required: ACLS and PALS
- Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
- Social Security number required for consideration
- Date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
- Located in Russellville, AR, situated in the Arkansas River Valley near Lake Dardanelle, the Arkansas River, and Mount Nebo State Park
