Job Summary:
Muskogee, Oklahoma This position is for a computed tomography (CT) technologist within a healthcare organization. The role involves operating CT equipment to produce diagnostic images, preparing patients, and ensuring image quality. Candidates are required to bring their radiologic technology license on the first day.

Job Details:

  • Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program; Registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R); BLS certification; Zero (0) to six (6) months of related experience.
  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to process cross-sectional images of patients body for diagnostic purposes. Performs diagnostic CT examinations according to department policies and protocols, including screening, preparing, and positioning patients. Recognizes and rectifies imaging and filming issues, evaluates studies for quality, and submits images to the PACS system. Administers contrast media as directed, maintains radiation safety, and provides excellent patient care and communication. Requires knowledge of all CT equipment, including laser cameras, and ability to utilize advanced image manipulations such as 3D rendering, reformation, and reconstruction. Maintains accurate documentation and ensures a clean work environment. Works independently and collaborates with patients, internal and external healthcare professionals. Skills in Epic, McKesson EMR, and Siemens CT are considered good to have.
