MRI Technologist Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleDay shift, 4x10 hours (12:30 PM - 11:00 PM)
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing MRI procedures, preparing patients for imaging, and ensuring high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities- Perform MRI scans on patients per physician's orders.
- Prepare and position patients in the MRI machine for optimal imaging.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
- Ensure the technical quality of images by adjusting equipment settings as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in the imaging department.
- Document procedures and patient information accurately.
- ARRT certification - MRI required.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of charge experience preferred.
- Experience with Allscripts or similar charting systems is preferred.
- Experience in a Community Hospital setting is a plus.
