Description

American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for an outpatient assignment in Texas, requiring experience across pediatric to geriatric populations including modified barium swallow studies.

Details

  • Outpatient SLP setting
  • Treats patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
  • Performs modified barium swallow studies (MBSS)
  • Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Texas SLP license or eligibility for licensure required for consideration (pending license accepted)
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Experience with pediatric through geriatric populations required
  • Experience performing modified barium swallow studies required
  • 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted for Allied positions
  • The facility conducts its own drug screening upon arrival, including testing for marijuana and CBD products — a positive result will result in automatic cancellation with no exceptions
  • Candidates should avoid any substances that could produce a positive drug screen result, including CBD products, prior to and upon arrival
