Assistant Janitorial Supervisor

Our client, a leading provider in the facilities maintenance industry, is seeking a dedicated Assistant Janitorial Supervisor to join their team. As an Assistant Janitorial Supervisor, you will be an integral part of the operations team supporting the delivery of high-quality cleaning services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Assistant Janitorial Supervisor

Location: Alexandria, MN

Pay Range: $21.00-$23.00

Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:00 pm-11:00 pm

What's the Job?

• Train cleaning staff on standards, products, and procedures to ensure quality service delivery
• Oversee staff performance and ensure all cleaning assignments are completed on schedule
• Perform inspections and provide constructive feedback to team members for continuous improvement
• Assign shifts and make adjustments as needed to accommodate staffing changes
• Respond promptly to customer requests and complaints, maintaining a positive and professional attitude

What's Needed?

• 1-2 years of experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is a plus but not required
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job
• Experience working in professional cleaning environments, such as office complexes, hotels, hospitals, or schools, is advantageous
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication skills in English and a valid driver’s license
