• Obstetrics: Low Risk Pregnancy (i.e. History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis, etc.), High Risk Pregnancy (i.e. with Toxemia, Diabetes, Class II or Higher Cardiacs, Chronic Lung Problems, Chronic Renal Disease, etc.)
• Labor and Delivery: Routine Delivery –Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision-Making for C-Section, Complicated Delivery –C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, etc., VBAC’s, Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations
• Gynecology: Laparoscopic Diagnostic/Minor Only-Tubal Ligation, LOA’s, Chromal Tubation, Surgical Gynecology – Open

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: Board Certified, Board Eligible
• Licenses: OH license (willing to accept those who will obtain license)
• DEA: Active DEA Certification
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Experience: N/A
• Other Qualifications: Self-Query NPDB report required at time of presentation

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide laborist coverage for patient safety and unassigned patients
• Cover unassigned patients that may come through the ED
• Provide physician call for midwife from 7p-7a
• Perform required obstetrics, labor and delivery, and gynecology procedures
• Collaborate with RNs, CNM, and other support staff
