Poultry Farm Associate (Day Shift) – $18.00/hrPenmac Staffing is hiring Poultry Farm Associates for immediate openings at a large agricultural complex in Pleasant Hope, MO. This is a day shift position offering steady hours and opportunities for advancement for individuals interested in growing within the agriculture industry.

Poultry Farm Associate Responsibilities

• Prepare poultry houses for clean out by removing debris, stripping litter, and scraping cement floors
• Empty feeders and assist with feeding and restocking for the following day
• Raise, lower, remove, or tear down equipment as needed
• Sanitize floors, walls, slats, and machinery using designated chemicals per SOP
• Open and close house end doors as required
• Humanely euthanize birds when necessary
• Perform routine maintenance and basic equipment setup
• Maintain cleanliness of the farm inside and outside
• Follow all sanitation, biosecurity, safety, and shower-in/shower-out procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements for the Poultry Farm Associate

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working with and handling live poultry
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work up to 5 days per week, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and work for extended periods
• Tolerance for farm-related odors, dust, damp, and wet conditions
• Ability to work in extreme hot and cold environments; PPE provided
• Basic mechanical or chemical knowledge is a plus
• Poultry or farm experience preferred, but not required
