Job Description
Join us at our Sunny Vista Retreat community where older adults are supported to thrive with dignity, purpose, and joy. We are seeking a compassionate and organized Resident Care Coordinator to partner with our Health and Wellness Director in supporting high-quality care, medication management, and the development of our QMAP care team.
The pay range for this position is $22.95 - $26.06 per hour
In this role, you will help ensure residents receive attentive, loving care through medication oversight, care plan support, staff coaching, compliance audits, and clear communication with families, physicians, and team members. You will be part of a culture rooted in compassion, innovation, and loving care, where every team member plays an important role in creating a safe, warm, and meaningful environment for older adults.
The ideal candidate has medication administration experience, strong organization and communication skills, and a heart for serving older adults. QMAP-A/L, Med Tech, Med Aide, Nurse Delegation, or state-required medication certification is required.

Basic Qualifications & Experience
- Per the state of operation requirements, Medication certification; QMAP-A/L, Med Tech, Med Aide, Nurse Delegation
- At least one year of medication administration experience where exceptional skills were demonstrated
- Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
- High school or Equivalent (GED)
- One (1) year experience in some level of elder care preferred
- Proficient computer skills preferred and knowledgeable in electronic health record management system.
- Strong self-management and organization skills
- Strong multi-tasking abilities with the ability to handle competing deadlines, flexible and adaptable.
- Ability to effectively handle difficult and sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements
- Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently.
- Constant standing, walking, and grasping. Frequent stooping and reaching above shoulder heights, occasional sitting, crawling, kneeling, and squatting.
- May have exposure to blood borne pathogens, body excretions and communicable diseases possible.
- Possible exposure to household chemicals.
- Sits, stands, bends, and moves intermittently during working hours.
- May be subject to frequent interruptions.
- Interacts with clients, family members and visitors frequently.
