Must love cats!
We are a feline only veterinary clinic on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in search of an experienced veterinary technician or technician assistant. The ideal candidate would be a strong technician who is comfortable and confident handling cats of all attitudes; a leader, and a self starter. We are a small family practice and want someone who wants to build relationships with our clients and their pets.
The candidate should have experience in all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery- but we are willing to train you! We see appointments Monday-Friday, and do some spays, neuters, and simple surgeries here and there. We do basic dental cleanings but no extractions. We just love cats!
Hours are Monday-Friday 8-4 with rotating holidays. An occasional weekend day may be needed.
Benefits include up to 3 weeks of paid vacation time (earned over first 3 years), discounted (feline) veterinary care for personal pets after 6 months. Pay is based on experience, performance, attitude, and attendance.
