Construction Project Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team and manage the day-to-day operations of construction projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors and other construction personnel on the project site.
• Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Ensure that all construction activities are in compliance with safety regulations.
• Coordinate and schedule inspections and ensure all necessary permits are obtained.
• Communicate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
• Resolve any issues that arise during the construction process and make necessary adjustments to the project schedule.
• Ensure that all work is performed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the client.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of the construction process.
• Provide training and development opportunities for construction personnel.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction supervision.
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Knowledge of scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred.
