The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is integral to managing the flow of goods in a high-volume warehouse environment, handling multiple shipping methods and ensuring accurate order processing and shipment scheduling. This role involves verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, coordinating with warehouse teams, and maintaining precise documentation using standard warehouse management systems such as SAP or Oracle. Reporting to the logistics manager, the clerk supports efficient logistics operations by focusing on accuracy and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Process orders and schedule shipments using multiple shipping methods
• Verify received shipments for accuracy and condition
• Enter and maintain shipment and receiving data accurately in WMS systems like SAP or Oracle
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth logistics operations
• Handle documentation related to shipments and receipts
• Label packages correctly according to shipment requirements
• Communicate effectively with logistics and warehouse teams

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in shipping and receiving roles
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven ability to track shipments efficiently
• Strong attention to detail in data entry and documentation
• Excellent communication skills
• Effective problem-solving abilities
