Industrial Carpenter

NOW HIRING: Commercial Carpenter (5+ Years Experience)

Location: 77581 (Pearland, TX area)
Pay Rate: $28/hr
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (or until project completion)

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Carpenter with strong metal stud framing and field problem-solving skills. This role is ideal for someone who works independently, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can adapt to real-world construction conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Frame walls with metal studs (layout, track, backing)
• Accurately layout walls and openings from blueprints
• Install backing/blocking for doors, hardware, and finishes
• Ensure walls are straight, square, and within tolerance
• Set door frames in out-of-square or challenging field conditions
• Troubleshoot and correct incorrect openings from other trades
• Install doors that operate properly (close, latch, no callbacks)
• Modify and rebuild framing to fit field conditions as needed
• Work independently and solve problems proactively
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and communication
• Willingness to learn and expand craft skills
• Must have a TWIC card or be eligible to obtain one

Ideal Candidate:

• 5+ years of commercial carpentry experience
• Strong understanding of metal stud framing systems
• Ability to read and execute from construction drawings
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused
• Comfortable working in fast-paced field environments
