About the Role

The DOT Truck Driver (CDL) is responsible for the safe and timely transportation and delivery of feed to designated locations while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and HANOR safety standards. This position plays a vital role in supporting daily operations and maintaining efficient feed delivery throughout the region.

Wisconsin Area Snapshot

·        Serves multiple farms and production sites throughout the region

·        Responsible for transporting feed safely and efficiently

·        Direct impact on operational success, safety, and production flow

Key Responsibilities

·        Inspect truck, including fuel, oil, brakes, lights, and safety equipment before operation

·        Verify loads against shipping documentation and secure cargo properly

·        Safely operate commercial vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies

·        Maintain safe driving practices at all times

·        Complete required DOT logs, inspections, and paperwork accurately

·        Report equipment issues and maintenance concerns promptly

·        Perform minor roadside repairs when necessary

·        Coordinate deliveries and schedules with management and dispatch personnel

·        Maintain cleanliness and proper care of assigned equipment

·        Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety policies

Qualifications

·        Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required

·        Knowledge of commercial driving safety practices and DOT regulations

·        Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

·        Ability to work independently and follow instructions

·        Basic math skills

·        Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required

·        Ability to work in varying weather and environmental conditions
