Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) to join our team in Anaheim, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing complex laboratory tests, analyzing results with accuracy, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining a high level of quality control throughout all laboratory operations.
During the initial 1–3 month paid training period in Los Angeles, you will learn company processes, testing platforms, documentation procedures, and workflow. Upon completion, you will transition fully to the Anaheim laboratory. Competitive sign-on bonus!
This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced diagnostic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently perform and interpret high-complexity laboratory testing in accordance with CLIA, CAP, and state regulations.
- Oversee and manage all daily laboratory operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Ensure strict adherence to all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation.
- Perform and monitor quality control, proficiency testing, and corrective actions as needed.
- Review, validate, and release all test results with a high level of accuracy and accountability.
- Identify, investigate, and communicate any unusual findings, equipment issues, or testing delays.
- Maintain full compliance with CAP accreditation standards and successfully support audits and inspections.
- Train and support new team members as needed while maintaining continuity of lab operations.
- Ensure adherence to all safety and infection-control protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully compliant laboratory environment.
- Assist with training new team members as needed.
