Certified Surgical Technician

The Certified Surgical Technologist position is a part-time, on-site role based in Tacoma, WA. This team member will prepare operating rooms for plastic surgery procedures, including setting up sterile fields, instruments, and supplies according to surgeon preferences and case requirements. Daily responsibilities include assisting the surgeon during procedures by passing instruments, handling specimens, maintaining strict aseptic technique, and anticipating surgical needs. The role also involves counting instruments and supplies, supporting room turnover between cases, and ensuring equipment is cleaned and stocked for upcoming surgeries. The technologist will collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other medical staff to promote patient safety, efficiency, and a positive surgical experience.
