Job Description
Every Special Child is seeking a compassionate and qualified "School Psychologist" to support the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral wellbeing of students. The ideal candidate will work closely with students, teachers, parents, and school leadership to assess student needs, provide counseling and interventions, and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities: "School Psychologist"

  •  Conduct psychological, behavioral, and educational assessments for students 
  •  Identify learning, developmental, emotional, and behavioral challenges 
  •  Prepare assessment reports and share recommendations with school staff and families 
  •  Provide individual and group counseling to students 
  •  Support students dealing with anxiety, stress, trauma, bullying, and social-emotional concerns 
  •  Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to design effective intervention strategies 
  •  Participate in the development and review of IEPs and other student support plans 
  •  Assist in crisis intervention and student mental health support 
  •  Develop behavior management plans and monitor student progress 
  •  Promote positive mental health and wellbeing programs across the school community 
  •  Maintain accurate, confidential student records in compliance with school policies and regulations 
Qualifications: "School Psychologist"

  •  Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology, Educational Psychology, or related field
  •  Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist as required by local/state regulations 
  •  Experience working with children and adolescents in a school or educational setting preferred 
  •  Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools, counseling techniques, and intervention strategies 
  •  Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills 
  •  Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams 
  •  Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and student-centered care
