Job Description
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a hands-on Industrial Mechanic to support the maintenance, reliability, and operation of a growing industrial manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, Texas. This is an opportunity to play a key role within a dynamic production environment, helping to ensure equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and safe plant performance. The facility utilizes a wide range of manufacturing technologies and industrial processes, including mechanical systems, automated equipment, material handling systems, machining, assembly, thermal processing, and other production operations.
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of parts and supplies.
- Collaborate with production teams to address maintenance issues and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and stay current with industry advancements.
- Perform general facility maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs as needed.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to all safety protocols.
Basic Qualifications: Proven experience as an Industrial Mechanic in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Familiarity with maintenance management software is a plus. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including schematics and blueprints. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as required.
