Server/Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and personable Server/Bartender to join our hospitality team. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Tonic POS
• Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages, with precision
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities and provide knowledgeable recommendations based on menu offerings and specials
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bar and dining areas in accordance with food safety regulations
• Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately and efficiently
• Deliver food and drinks in a timely manner, ensuring guest satisfaction
• Work closely with fellow servers, bartenders, bussers, and kitchen staff
• Assist with opening and closing side work

Skills

• Extensive experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Proven ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality service
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and guest satisfaction
• Prior experience in fine dining settings or nightclubs is a plus, demonstrating versatility across different hospitality environments
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing
• Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation management platforms is advantageous
• Knowledge of food industry standards related to serving, bartending, bussing, and host/hostess duties
