Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time contract opportunity spans 37.5 hours per week, beginning with orientation on August 3, 2026, and welcoming students on August 6. The role continues through May 27, 2027, providing ample opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Qualifications:

  • Hold or be eligible for active SLP licensure in Illinois
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based speech services
  • Effective communication and collaborative abilities
  • Commitment to student development and educational excellence

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders in a school setting
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to nurture student success
  • Participate in monthly meetings, roundtable discussions, and real-time regional collaboration via an innovative online platform
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvement to enhance best practice services
  • Engage in performance reviews and regular 1:1 check-ins with leadership
