Job Description
Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist serving a vibrant educational community near Methuen, MA. This assignment offers a unique chance to support students' physical development and well-being in a collaborative, school-based environment, starting September 1, 2026, and continuing through June 14, 2027. You'll work onsite one day per week, providing expert care that enables students to participate fully in their academic pursuits.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Physical Therapy license is required
- Additional MA educational certifications may be necessary
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric PT setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Organized, flexible, and able to adapt to a dynamic school environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group PT services to students per their IEPs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop goal-centered treatment plans
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with state and school guidelines
- Educate students, teachers, and families on techniques to support mobility and motor skills
- Offer consultative support to educators to promote access and inclusion in the classroom
