Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make an impact supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in central Pennsylvania for the 2026-27 school year. We're seeking dedicated SLP-CCC professionals for contract opportunities serving Mifflin or Juniata Counties, with work based at multiple school sites as assigned. Start your school year on September 3rd and help shape young learners' communication skills through May 2027, working a consistent 35-hour week with a variety of potential caseloads determined post-interview.
Key qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Pennsylvania SLP license and active educator credential
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Prior experience in school settings preferred
- Flexibility and adaptability to work across different school sites
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and student-centered care
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide therapeutic interventions for students with communication and language disorders
- Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough documentation of services and progress
- Participate in eligibility meetings and case conferences as required
- Adapt service delivery to support diverse student populations
- Manage responsibilities autonomously while communicating effectively with other school professionals
