X-Ray Technologist in Brookfield, WI

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years X-Ray experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A leading healthcare facility seeks an experienced professional skilled in imaging, specifically X-ray, to provide high-quality radiologic services on a contract basis. This role is perfect for an X-ray Tech/Radiologic Technologist who is comfortable working independently and ready to deliver excellent patient care during overnight shifts.

Schedule:

• Choose between two shift options:
  • Thursdays and Fridays, 8:30pm–6:30am
  • Fridays and Saturdays, 8:30pm–6:30am
• 2 shifts per week, 10 hours each
• 13-week contract assignment

Qualifications:

• Current certification as an X-ray Tech or Radiologic Technologist
• Valid ARRT registration (or eligible)
• Demonstrated experience in a healthcare or hospital setting
• Proficient with a variety of imaging equipment and procedures
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work overnight shifts reliably
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain)

Key Responsibilities:

• Acquire high-quality X-ray images according to physician orders and protocol
• Prepare and position patients using safe and established techniques
• Verify patient identity and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation
• Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety standards
• Accurately document procedures, maintain patient records, and assist with imaging workflow
• Collaborate with clinical and medical staff to ensure timely diagnosis and care
