About:
Our client is hiring an experienced CNC Mill Machinist who can independently set up, program, and run jobs with minimal supervision. This is a high-responsibility role for someone who takes ownership of their work and wants to be a key contributor in a growing shop.

What You'll Do
Perform complete, independent CNC mill setups
Program, edit, and optimize jobs using Mastercam
Take jobs from print → program → setup → production
Read prints including tight tolerances and GD&T
Select tooling, speeds/feeds, and machining strategies
Prove out jobs and ensure repeatability and efficiency
Troubleshoot machining and quality issues independently
Perform in-process and final inspection
Process & Leadership Expectations
Identify and implement process improvements
Improve cycle times, tooling performance, and consistency
Help develop setup sheets and standardized processes
Mentor and support less experienced machinists
Contribute to overall shop efficiency and throughput
What We're Looking For
3-7+ years CNC milling experience
Proven ability to perform independent setups
Strong Mastercam programming experience (required)
Solid understanding of tooling, materials, and machining strategy
Ability to read prints and understand GD&T
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Organized, self-driven, and accountable
