Brake Press Operator

Company Information: A Fabrication Shop on the South Side of Indianapolis is hiring a Entry-Level Brake Press Operator. This role is ideal for someone with basic brake press experience or knowledge, who is comfortable working in a hands-on shop environment and can pass a tape measure test.

Brake Press Operator's Pay & Benefits:

• $20–$22/HR
• 401(k), PTO, and paid holidays
• Evaluation to Hire

Brake Press Operator's Schedule:

• 1st Shift
• 7AM – 4PM (times are flexible after training is complete)

Brake Press Operator's Job Duties:

• Operate brake press machinery to bend and form metal parts
• Inspect parts to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards
• Use quality tooling and measuring instruments to verify dimensions
• Perform first article and incoming inspections
• Report quality issues or equipment concerns to management

Brake Press Operator's Requirements:

• Basic understanding or experience with brake press operations
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable in a fabrication shop setting
• Ability to read a tape measure and pass a tape measure test
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
