Retail Pharmacist | Nashville, Tennessee

An independent pharmacy in Nashville, TN, is seeking a dedicated pharmacist for a contract-to-hire position starting ASAP. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide top-tier pharmaceutical care while working in a collaborative and patient-focused environment.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (32-40 hours/week)
• Possible every other Saturday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Saturday coverage may be flexible)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications in compliance with all laws and regulations
• Provide expert counseling to patients and caregivers on medication use, side effects, and interactions
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes and ensure safe medication management
• Maintain precise patient records, review prescriptions for appropriate dosages, and verify potential drug interactions
• Demonstrate leadership by supporting the team and cultivating a positive work culture
• Stay informed on industry best practices and adapt to changes in protocols, software, or technologies

Qualifications:

• Active Pharmacist License in Tennessee
• Familiarity with PioneerRX software is preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
• Commitment to exceptional customer service and patient care

Interview Process:

• First round via phone interview
• Second round onsite interview

This 13-week contract has potential for transition to a permanent role. Compensation ranges from $55 to $58 per hour.
