Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Illinois SLP licensure, or eligibility
  • SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year candidates encouraged)
  • School-based SLP experience a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative SLP services to students
  • Conduct assessments and implement IEPs
  • Participate in orientation starting August 3; students begin August 6, 2026 (position runs through May 27, 2027)
  • Collaborate in monthly meetings, roundtables, and process improvement projects
  • Document progress, participate in annual reviews, and contribute to best practices
  • Engage with the intranet to connect across the region
  • Attend regular 1:1 and team check-ins
