Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active OT licensure in Massachusetts is required
  • Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly desired
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and progress monitoring
  • Skilled in assessing fine and gross motor development, sensory integration, and adaptive strategies
  • Effective communication abilities for collaborating with families, educators, and related service providers
  • Compassionate, organized, and flexible with a commitment to individualized student support

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to determine students’ therapy needs within the school environment
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans aligned with student IEPs
  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services, adapting interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance overall student access to curriculum and learning opportunities
  • Provide training and resources to teachers, staff, and families to facilitate students’ functional independence
  • Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and participate in relevant meetings
