Material Handler

A client in the defense industry is seeking an Inventory Management Support professional to ensure materials, parts, and equipment are accurately received, tracked, and distributed to support production operations. This is a hands-on role working closely with production teams to move materials throughout the facility, maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, and support shipping activities using internal systems. Responsibilities include organizing storage areas, picking parts based on production needs, identifying discrepancies, and maintaining efficient material flow. This individual will operate with limited supervision, follow established processes, and contribute to a safe, high-performing work environment.

Required Skills & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 6+ years of relevant experience OR Associate’s degree with 2+ years of experience
• Experience with data entry and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and push/pull carts throughout the day
• Ability to stoop, crouch, bend, and twist frequently
• Experience working in environments requiring steel-toe boots/shoes

Compensation:

$20 to $22hr
