Adecco is partnering with a Milton VT client to hire a 2nd Shift Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations during evening hours. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for staff supervision, productivity, and operational accuracy across all departments.

Schedule: Sunday (2:30 PM start) – Thursday, 3:45 PM–12:30 AM (or until work is complete)
Hours: 40–45 hours per week

Responsibilities
  • Supervise 25–55 employees in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Maintain a positive, productive work environment and ensure staff remain on task
  • Interview, hire, train, coach, and discipline employees as needed
  • Assign and oversee daily tasks and support all departments of operation
  • Provide input for performance reviews and address employee questions or concerns
  • Troubleshoot inventory discrepancies
  • Pick and pack orders as needed
  • Operate hand carts, pallet jacks, forklifts, cherry pickers, and shrink-wrap machinery
  • Use computers, handheld devices, and voice-command systems
  • Multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Physical Requirements
  • Regularly lift/move up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs
  • Stand and walk for extended periods
  • Reach, bend, squat, kneel, climb, and crawl

Qualifications
  • Previous supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Dependable, punctual, detail-oriented, and quality-focused

Pay Details: $65,000.00 per year
