Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for an experienced inpatient hospital pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care within a hospital setting. The role involves overseeing pharmacy operations, supervising pharmacy technicians, and managing IV compounding responsibilities in accordance with standards.
Location: Lamar, CO
Schedule:
- 1st Shift
- 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday (or similar)
Job Type: Direct Hire
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily pharmacy functions ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulations
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain an efficient and safe workflow
- Perform IV compounding following USP <797> and <800> guidelines
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy for inpatients
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid and current Colorado pharmacist license required
- Proven experience in inpatient hospital pharmacy practice
- Competency in IV compounding, including USP <797> and <800> techniques
- Clean background with no history of DUI or other disqualifying issues
