Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting young learners as a Speech Language Pathologist. In this role, you’ll cover a maternity leave spanning from the first day of school through November 25th. You’ll have the chance to work closely with pre-kindergarten students in both integrated and substantially separate classrooms, playing a pivotal role in their early development.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Valid SLP-CCC certification
- Prior experience in an educational setting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) systems desired
- Background in behavior management techniques appreciated
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language services to pre-K students in both integrated and sub-separate classroom settings
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to support student IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to implement strategies supporting communication and behavioral objectives
- Maintain detailed session notes and documentation in accordance with school policy and professional standards
