Retail Pharmacist in Columbus, OH

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

The role offers a contract-to-hire position with a 13-week initial assignment, working alongside a dedicated pharmacy team to deliver outstanding patient care and medication management.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Environment and Team:

• Retail pharmacy setting
• Average daily inbound prescriptions: 200-300
• Team includes 2 pharmacists and 5 pharmacy technicians
• Utilize Prime RX for order entry (experience preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications and counsel patients regarding their prescriptions
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and fellow pharmacists to ensure efficient workflow
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
• Support inventory management and medication order processing through Prime RX system

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Ohio pharmacy technician license (required)
• Proven retail pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with Prime RX order entry system (preferred)
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
