Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful impact this summer by supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist during the Extended School Year (ESY) program. This rewarding contract opportunity runs from July 6th through August 14th, 2026, and offers a focused schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:30am–12:00pm, for a total of 14 hours per week.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Holds current SLP licensure with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Familiarity with the unique needs of PreK–12 students
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Capable of collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Comfortable adapting therapy strategies to meet diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students in alignment with IEP goals
- Evaluate, assess, and document student progress throughout the ESY session
- Collaborate with educators, aides, and families to facilitate communication and support student success
- Develop creative and engaging therapy materials for summer learning retention
- Maintain thorough and timely records according to school and regulatory guidelines
