Inpatient Hospital Clinical Pharmacist in Wiley, CO

An opportunity is available for a skilled Clinical Pharmacist to contribute expertise in an inpatient hospital pharmacy setting. This role focuses on pharmaceutical oversight, technology supervision, and IV compounding to ensure safe and effective medication management within a hospital environment.

Schedule and Location:

• Location: Wiley, CO
• Shifts: 1st shift
• Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday (or similar)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide oversight of pharmacy operations ensuring compliance and quality standards
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow efficiency and accuracy
• Perform IV compounding using USP <797> and <800> techniques to prepare sterile medications
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to support effective inpatient medication therapies

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Previous experience as an inpatient hospital pharmacist is required
• Proficient in IV compounding adhering to USP <797> and <800> standards
• Current Colorado pharmacist license is mandatory
• Able to meet strict professional and personal standards: no background issues such as DUIs
