Job Description
Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years X-Ray experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a dynamic healthcare environment with this contract opportunity for an experienced X-ray Tech/Radiologic Technologist. This role focuses on delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care within a collaborative medical team.
Schedule/Hours:
- Two 10-hour shifts per week
- Shift options: Thursdays and Fridays, 8:30pm – 6:30am OR Fridays and Saturdays, 8:30pm – 6:30am
- 13-week commitment
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current credentials as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
- Valid state licensure to practice as a radiologic technologist
- Previous clinical experience in X-ray imaging
- Proficient with standard imaging protocols and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary care team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quality diagnostic X-ray examinations in accordance with physician orders and department protocols
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures
- Properly position patients to obtain optimal image quality while following radiation safety guidelines
- Maintain accurate patient records and properly document all imaging procedures in the electronic medical record system
- Collaborate with radiologists and support staff for efficient workflow and patient care
- Monitor and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions or safety concerns
