Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for an experienced Inpatient Hospital Pharmacist to oversee pharmacy operations in a hospital setting. The position involves supervising pharmacy technicians, ensuring compliance with IV compounding standards, and maintaining high-quality pharmaceutical care.

Location: Granada, CO
Type: Direct Hire
Schedule:

  • 1st Shift
  • 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday (or similar)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all pharmacy operations within the inpatient hospital setting
  • Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow
  • Perform and manage IV compounding, adhering to USP 797 and 800 guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and pharmaceutical regulations

Qualifications:

  • Current, active Colorado Pharmacist license required
  • Proven experience in inpatient hospital pharmacy practice
  • Knowledge and application of IV compounding standards, including USP 797 and 800
  • Clean background with no history of DUI or other legal concerns
