Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY), beginning with orientation on August 3, 2026, and continuing through May 27, 2027. This full-time position offers 37.5 hours per week within a dynamic team setting. While your exact school placement will be finalized following the interview process, you’ll have the chance to make a meaningful impact across a diverse student population.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Holds or eligible for Illinois SLP licensure; ASHA CCCs or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience or strong interest in working within K-12 school settings
- Knowledge of IEP process and familiarity with school-based documentation requirements
- Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and organizational skills
- Adaptability and commitment to supporting students in diverse learning environments
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs
- Support and consult with teachers and families to foster communication skill development
- Complete necessary documentation, progress reports, and billing per district policies
- Deliver services that promote student academic, social, and personal growth
