Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, contract position is tailored for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (CCC-SLP, SLP, or Clinical Fellows) who are passionate about making a difference in K-12 student lives. Work within a vibrant school community as the school year kicks off with orientation on August 3, 2026. The first day with students is August 6, with the assignment running through May 27, 2027.

You will provide speech and language services to students across a range of grade levels, helping to ensure every child’s voice is heard and supported. Placement details will be finalized following interview discussions, allowing you to learn more about the exact role and location that best matches your experience and interest.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license, or eligibility for licensure
  • CCC-SLP credential or completion of required coursework for Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
  • Prior experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy to a diverse K-12 student population
  • Assess, diagnose, and document students’ speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support academic achievement and communication goals
  • Maintain required documentation and participate actively in team meetings
