Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students’ communication growth during the Extended School Year (ESY) program! Highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologists with CCC certification are needed to provide essential services in a dynamic school-based environment from July 6th through August 14th, 2026. The schedule offers a balanced, part-time commitment, operating Monday through Thursday, 8:30am to 12:00pm, totaling 14 hours each week.
Your expertise in school-based speech therapy ensures children achieve their communication goals, helping to make a significant, positive impact before the start of the new school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience working in school settings strongly preferred
- Strong collaboration skills with educators, families, and other providers
- Ability to tailor therapy to diverse student needs, fostering a supportive environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students according to their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Assess communication abilities and develop relevant treatment goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ progress
- Maintain thorough documentation of services, evaluations, and student outcomes
- Participate in team meetings and share insights for comprehensive student support
- Promote positive student engagement and progress throughout the ESY session
